Christmas turned out to be alright after all. Her familly stuck to their corner and we stuck to ours. There was plenty of small talk but it went smoothly, except I found that their children misbehaved quite alot and got away with it. whatever.
A neighbour came by as santa for the wee ones and i cried a little, it was too cute. i've been getting really freakin emotional for no reason lately.

Christmas Eve my sister and i stay over at my parents place and we wake up for presents and a huge breakfast. The gifts were the usual except one! They're taking us on a 5 day jamaican cruise in march! i'm really excited! we haven't had a familly vacation in 4 years so it'll be nice to get away for a bit... The only problem with a cruise is that i only have 2 and a half months to get my act together and go to the gym. at least i have a goal date to keep me motivated!

I managed to get myself way too drunk on christmas night along with the rest of the extended fam. good times but i was hurting like hell on boxing day. i went out for lunch with friends yesterday... nothing cures a hang-over like Pierogi pizza! yum.

i'm now on vacation until the 7th. i think i might go to the spa.
