psychofilly

i'm now on vacation until january 7th. i came home on friday and made the mistake of sitting on my bed to take off my boots, then laying down to stretch my back. i fell asleep and woke up 14 hours later. it was amazing. (my room-mate did wake me up around 10 however to make sure i was still alive and i debated getting up and going out but thought -fuck that, and went back to sleep.

i saw I Am Legend last night. amazing movie.

so.. Christmas Eve tomorow night. one more sleep. it'll be diner and gifts at my grand-father's house. he remarried 3 years ago after my grand-maman passed away. this year, his sheila invited her family to join us on christmas eve. i'm kinda upset. we really like her but our families don't match and it'll be weird. it's our night. i'm kinda bummed and it's going to be pretty awkward i think.
and then it's off to my uncle's for the traditional french-canadian meal. tourtire, ragoue, turkey, tons of extended family and most importantly; loads of drinking. yup. good times.
