I don't agree 100% that people who control their emotions are just concealing them. I can think of a handfull of people that I've known over the course of my young life who truly, deeply lack the capacity to feel and express emotions normally. They taught themselves how to suppress and rope in their emotions (a little too well). To everyone they appeared cold and callous, and when shit would go south they would simply shrug and walk the other way. I viewed it as a happy curse. On one hand, they could deflect pain and jealousy and all of the nasty stuff. On the other, they probably never experienced pure and unbridled joy.
