Nothing like listening to disturbed while hitting the iron. Haven't killed anything in awhile so I think I'm getting a little twitchy. Not that I take pleasure in it, it's not an emotional thing. More adrenaline than anything. It is a skill however, and like most skills if you don't use it you lose your coordination. Takes a steady hand and steadfast nerve to end life quickly and humanely.
A question was once posed, what if there was a species above us in the food chain that slaughtered us as dispassionately, as we do animals we view as a food source. The answer is right in front of us. Humans. We kill each other all over the world with little thought or regard to life. At least we use justification to explain the cows and chickens. No such excuse is given for things like genocide or ethnic cleansing.
