The fall is here and I must say it is my favorite season. The colors, the smell of winter kissing the air, and don't forget the oncoming rush of pumpkin carving season. I am always amazed at the artistic ability that is displayed this time of year. Then their is the pie, oh the pie. mmmmmm.

It's a season for heathens and heretics, pagans and wiccans. Still whether you dance under the harvest moon or dress up like sailor moon, it's a time for celebration. I actually started bouncing on Hallowe'en night, which is most likely why I don't go to the bars anymore.

I enjoy spending my eve with old horror movies, surrounded by as many pumpkins as I can carve. So not to plagiarize Scream but, what's your favorite scary movie SG land?

I heard a rumor they are redoing Hellraiser, which could be exciting since Clive Barker + modern effects = psychological therapy for the audience. I like the core originals, Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm St, but the remakes were well done (not Halloween 2).

Honorable mention must be given to ones like the Devil's Rejects, or the Collector. I think I'm more creeped out by ones where the killer is plausible, and not some super natural juggernaut. I liked Seven, the Bone Collector, and Copycat. Movies like that make you look at your neighbors different, goes to show that it can be anyone. Most serial killers are charismatic individuals that ooze confidence, and seem genuinely nice people. Rameirez, Dahmer, Gacy, Bundey, to name a few.

Just goes to show, you can't trust a guy with a really big deep freeze.

Hmm... I tend to like horror movies that are funny and ridiculous. Motel Hell is a favorite. I also like some Korean and Japanese horror movies.
