So the Canucks pulled it out in the nick, and I mean nick, of time. What the fuck is with all the penalties though? I know I said they should put on the foil, but KNEEING? When the hell was the last time you heard of a kneeing penalty. This biting thing is bullshit. REALLY? 1) Did he lose a finger= NO, 2) Anyone who has worn hockey gloves knows they provide a fair amount of protection, I didn't see him gnawing on the guys hand like a pitbull, and 3) stop whining you pussy. Jeez. Still it looks to be the hard hitting tough series I had hoped for, Boston is a seasoned team with depth and heart. I knew they weren't gonna roll over and take it up the ass. I'm glad the Canucks didn't take any shit when the Bruins tried to out muscle them. I don't blame them for trying, it's the smart move, but the best thing you can do to someone putting the squeeze on you is lay that mother down and say " not today bitch".

One thing I do enjoy about victory, however narrow, is the sweet sound of silence from all my Bruin loving shit talking friends on FB. All smack talk before game 1. Should be interesting to see game 2, I figure it goes 1 of 2 ways. Either they show discipline and get down to some hockey, or the Bruins try to ham it up in retaliation, and it turns into a shit show.

I still find it interesting how some still feel that the Bruins are the odds on favorite, and if the Canucks do win its by sheer luck, and they will " steal" the cup. Meh, sportsmanship some have it, some don't I guess.
