Happy New Year!!!

I was relaxing it easy, enjoying a drink of my single malt 18yr old scotch, and I had an epiphany last night. A friend and me were reminiscing the what-ifs in life, she was wishing things had turned out different. Seeing how things haven't exactly shiny for me, the quick answer is to agree. It's just that we are defined by our actions and experiences. Wisdom is earned through choices, mistakes, and time. How we deal with those good and bad define how we think and view the world.

So no, I'm glad things went how they did. I have a great job that I actually enjoy, people who care, a roof over my head, and food on the table. Basically every bad thing you can imagine happening to someone, has happened to me over the course of my life. It has taken it's toll, but I guess if I hadn't gone through all that, I wouldn't have learned to appreciate what I have gotten.

Never waste a day, and don't lie to yourself if you think that what you do doesn't affect those in your life. Keep well and challenge everything.
