blah blah BLAH. You know you work too much when your boss emphatically tells you to NOT show up on your day off. Only a few more days. *stress*. This week has sucked giant donkey dick. So far I have had to defrost ( which means unloading and reloading) 48 ft of freezer, including my turkey display. Arg!! Oh well, had to happen. Aside from all the stress and aggravation, I did spend a fair amount of time flirting with a beautiful woman. It's amazing how that improves things. I guess I really am a simple man. My ex has received her assembled Christmas package. Doesn't seem overly excited that all she has to do is unpack the tree, put on the decorations, and place the already wrapped gifts under the fucking thing. Oh well, at least I don't have to look at that shit anymore.
I am going to take some of my own advice though, I told her to make this holiday her own, that she didn't have to subscribe to the whole traditional holiday BS. So this year is a zombie Christmas. It's a Walking Dead marathon, Dawn of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead, as many Simpsons Halloween specials as i can muster. Dead Rising 2, Zombie COD: Black Ops, and capping it off with The Grinch and Nightmare before Christmas. Adding in either a Turkey or Lamb stew with dumplings, and good wine / whiskey when needed. And maybe the REF, its not zombie ish but it was set during the holidays and I like Denis Leary. Ahh yes, loving the holidays, one brain at a time.
Now Im off to enjoy my Prime Rib with rosemary / cumin potatoes and salad. Challenge everything SG land, and don't let the man getcha down.
