It's water-fasting day. I try to do it every month or so to effectively cleanse my system of toxins and whatever.
Of course I chose water fasting day to make a big vegeterian lasagna dinner for my mom, her boyfriend, our roomate, my boyfriend and whoever else shows up (maybe mom's bf's daughter). I make a pretty amazing lasagna, actually (if i do say so, myself). I think I will make a big green salad and perhaps some stuffed mushrooms too. I guess I will just have some for breakfast
I just love the process of meal planning, shopping and cooking. I am a domestic, I just can't help it. The virgo thing, I guess. So I am wicked (note the use of maine lingo here) excited about doing that.
me=dork
I still need to get my student ID. Once I do that, I can go to the gym, so I can't wait. I was approached by a girl I know from the cheering team, they want me to try out if i am still here next fall (honestly, i have been thinking about transfering AGAIN- this time to portland) I think I would rather run, though. Or play rugby. I should just let go of the good old cheering days. I didn't like it much anyhow. i mean the sport is fabulous, but the other cheerleaders.... eeep.
ok my computer is about to shut down. fucking thing.
EDIT *because my computer shut down while i was writing*
yeah i was just about to go anyhow. I have to shovel the driveway. WoOt!

Second, tell me more about water-fasting. Is this healthy? What does it do, biologically?
College cheering is NOT that cool, no matter what they say. Running is much cooler, and better for you (on many levels). Just my 2 cents on all that.

MAMA
