surrounded by strange dreams as of late, could be losing the mind i claim to have (or what i didn't destroy in the young and wild days)... do dreams really hold some secret meaning or is it just our brain wittling away the boredom?

I hate when I have super realistic dreams and I get confused and think that something wierd has happened when it didn't. I had a dream that I was singing for Tracy Dahl, an amazing Winnipeg Diva, and she tore me to pieces in front of my class and asked my teacher why he was wasting my money when I could sing a note? For days I walked around thinking that Tracy Dahl--one of the nicest people you could ever meet--was a complete bitch!

dreams can certainly make us feel that way. I just fell asleep really earlier in this total nothing place I live. I had strange dreams, woke up feeling the strangeness in my skin like there is a layer of latex between me and the world. I don't recall any of the dreams, but they left a bit of residue in the corners of my perception.

Jung suggests that dreams communicate to us in symbols, it's the subconscious expressing something we need to learn or know. What are you dreams telling you?
