it seems strange to sit here feeling like a child when you are very nearly thirty. child like wonderment is beautiful at any age, but that lost feeling that comes with not being the one who takes care of everything is unsettling when you are indeed the one who is taking care of it all...

i feel as though i may be living out in space lately. it is beautiful here, twinkling stars against the depths of darkness of the sky and absolute silence. one would think this would focus the mind, but in this instance it has given mine free range to roam as it pleases with a randomness that makes me dizzy...
leola:
A dazzling entry...

And thank you. kiss

sorry about the long absence... i've been a bit flaky lately.

watch "mirrormask"

the cold's all gone, work is picking up, there's money in the bank, and the girlfriend is moving back home in less than 2 months (yes, i am counting the days & they are going slowly), life seems quite good. all's sunshine and rainbows...
loves & licks to all.
northstar:
the cold has returned. fuckin ottawa.

i wish i had a girlfriend moving back home to me. biggrin
zef:
sounds like life is good. hope it stays that way!

Watch funny DVDs - they always make me feel better.

I know - I seem to move every 6 months - it's ridiculous - maybe I'll stay put for a bit this time. kiss
zef:
laughter is exactly what you need. And isn't it better to be sick when you can rest than when you have to work?

Hope you feel better!

i had a slight freak-out last week and almost change careers, then i stopped and thought about what i was contemplating... i am still paying off the loans and such i needed to train to do what i am doing now (which does happen to be something i love to do) and realized that there must be a realistic way to claw my way out...

Hey the color green suits just about anybody smile

If you love your job why change.
If its not broken no need to fix or however the saying goes.
Maybe find another job on the side....just until you pay off your debts and can be at ease once its done.
zef:
Stick with it Whatever is causing the rut can be identified and then altered. Just slow down , breathe deeply and let it all happen. Sometimes the rut is moving as fast as we are. When we slow down it keeps on going and we are left standing on clear ground.

Drinking and waffles, mmmm. Try that too.

How's your relationship going? Good I hope.

many thanks for all the well wishing... i haven't been this happy in a long time. i have the best of both worlds with my lovely girlfriend... the newness of the beginning & the comfort of friendship as we have been friends for over three years, so i'm counting all those lucky stars & trying to figure out what i did to deserve this all...*big...

holy cripes. as i am a daily commuter, i did not appreciate the snow. but as a person who loves nature and it's natural beauty, i loved the snow. i came up with a good compromise on the way home. stop at the lieutenants pump for beer and chicken fingers while it snows and traffic thinned out. it was a good idea.
merry christmas!
domnicella:
Happy New Years hun. smile
