Thanks for the info .. I know that the Disney property used to be orange groves and such. I did some research last night and found out that where California Adventure is now was a parking lot a few years ago. So NOW I want to know .. What did the current parking lot area used to be??

Today I bought a Barista action figure - plastic glasses, tatoo, orange hair etc..

On the back of the package she came in, it says that she likes NPR, public transit, cigarettes etc... and that she dislikes SUVs.
she is soo cute

the company also sells a Freud, Jesus and a Foucault action figure.

I like any one who can fix my car and is cute. I mean, if you can fix those fancy things, the big simple ones should be cake!
( I actually have a Rodeo at the moment, but I want a big simple one . . . with flames)

The director of Suburbia is from Orange County. If you have a DVD player, I'd rent it. The comentary might interest you. We were little when it came out, but it's neet to see what was happening arround you when you didn't notice.

Republican Punks freak me out.

The movie suburbia was made in the early eighties and is about a punk squat in the LA suburbs. It has live performances by DI, TSOL and the Vandals. It is super good. It's not for the squeemish, though. Violent!

I grew up in Lansing, but similar things went on. The squats, the drugs, not the bands though wink.
bettietwoguns:
Um, Lansing is the capital (if you didn't know) not a big city, but medium. Big enough to have its own suburbs.

I hate the Gypsy. It attracts the riff raff to my neighborhood. Frat boys in tan pants who don't know how to parallel park their stupid SUVs. And of course they are too stupid to understand the concept of part and ride (the streetcar). As David Tibet once said "kill kill kill killy kill"

jamy:
ride a bike. full stop.

Oh.... and un chien andalou was a pretty wacky film.... as was story of the eye a pretty wacky book.... especially the bull fighting scene.

Looking at your fantasy, you should post on Vital's journal
