Finally broke my bust of 3rd tables at Oakridge tonite.
160 entries, they paid 15.
I made the final table of 10 (should have been joined by roommate Nick, but KK vs. AA will knock you out!) but went out on the first hand.
$60,000 in chips, UTG+1.
UTG min-raised to $20,000.
AQ of clubs, I push all in, and it gets folded around to a middle position player who goes all in himself, and blinds and original raiser fold.
KK for Mr. Big Shot, and I'm out as nothing comes on the board for pskank.
Eh, that's fine. I needed to take a stab and try and get some chips. I was the short stack and If I wanted a shot at first place, I needed to make a move. I think the original raiser would have folded to stay in the tourney and hope someone busted later so he could climb the payout ladder.
Well, $ will be going to a bif of thrift shopping and lunch tomorrow with the love of my life, my mom. Then, I will debate playing in the PA Poker tourney on Saturday night, or getting drunk with the boys, and maybe that girl I'm going to call tomorrow.
Also, I will be kicking off the Steelboyz season in style Thurday as I get their logo tatted in black and grey on my torso (help me decided left or right!).
Ok, if anyone wants to rub me for luck, or have me teach them poker, I'm always hurr.
Oh yeah, I will be organizing a SGPgh poker night at my house. Looks like I'd be able to accompany maybe 16 people for cards, "Rounders", beer and food. Keep that in mind and let's work out a night.
