SG show last night = awesome!
I missed most of the first opener while I was waiting at the box office line, but they sounded good. The second band Chow Nasty was alright, but I think it was the wrong kind of energy for the crowd.
Then the girls started to come out and we were all happy again. I can't even begin to recall all the cool stuff that happened, but every single fucking piece was excellent! I especially liked Nixon's first solo one (and everything else Nixon did - she was awesome), the dresden dolls one, the reservior dogs one (i'm glad they kept this one in), the hoola hoop one (i swear they were anti gravity hoola hoops), and the finale where we got to play guessing games about what we licking off ourselves and eachother. It ws mostly honey, but there was some soap in there too. I blame Reagan, but it was still fun.

They sucked live, but it sounded like something that I might have listened to had I heard a studio cut. The old guy playing the conga drums creeped be out a lot too. He looked like someone I used to work with.
