Today was a much better day. It was my daughter's 10th birthday. I took the day off work. The weather was awesome. We had her party at the beach. Only problem today was I forgot the sunscreen. Not a problem for my kids as they have been outside all summer. I am currently very warm though!.
It was wonderful seeing my daughter so happy. She was extra happy this year because it is a present year. Every other year she accepts only donations for her preschool instead of presents. She usually raises about $300. We've done it 4 times now. They are always happy when we roll in with checks bills and coins from kids piggy banks! I think it has taught her a valuable lesson, give back to those who help you.
