prudence

the death of mr. rogers really upset me. far more than i ever thought it would. not even jim henson's or charles shultz's death upset me as much, even though the peanuts and muppet characters were actually much more a part of my childhood than mr. rogers' neighborhood. i guess it's b/c, while both men were important to me, they were more behind the scenes...it was the characters that i grew up with, and identified with, and felt a personal connection with...not so much the men behind them. with mr. rogers, though, it was the person i had a childhood television relationship with. i feel like santa claus has died

i'm going to listen to kalx tonight, to sylvain's show, to hear O, LE, Lola, and Soraya on the radio. i posted a link on the boards so people outside the bay area could listen on the internet, but it seems that the streaming broadcast link on the kalx site is a dead one. how lame. why haven't they updated that?
