wow- i'm glad so many people like my hello kitty tattoo. thanks i've had it for many years, and i'm still as happy with it as the day i got it [actually, even moreso, since it's no longer sore and scabby!].

i'm feeling a little better today. still in a bit of a funk, but not as bad as yesterday. my back also still hurts. i'm supposed to go see the 'company doctor' maana, since i hurt it at work. what a pain in the ass. why can't i just see my own doctor?

yesterday at work, oakland raider jon ritchie came to my checkstand. i didn't even notice who he was, even though i checked his i.d. i was thinking too much about how my back hurt! i did notice that he had a big ol' bump on his forhead, though. we chatted a little about celery soda. then, my manager told me to tell my husband that a genuine raider came through my line. huh. my husband is a big raider fan. i love raider fans, though- they're all such lowbrow thugs. 49er fans can say what they want about how they make more money and/or have higher i.q.'s, but if the raider fans and 49er fans were to ever rumble, who do you think would get their asses kicked? ha!

more celebrity news: my friend ian might be a guest on the new jimmy kimmel show. a producer from the show contacted him b/c of his macaroni and cheese box collection. he also has a sand, and a cereal box collection. he's quite a character. but, jimmy kimmel! i love jimmy kimmel! i can't stand the man show, but i loved him on win ben stein's money.

oh, yeah- i mentioned ian before. he's the guy who smuggled opium into this country from istanbul, and stole a church nativity scene's baby jesus, then left a ransom note.

update: oh, no!!!! another one of my friends' names has disappeared from my list. flood, formerly glib, seems to have vanished. i hope he comes back. we're supposed to go see the groovie ghoulies together
