It is time to apply for my first job as a veterinarian. Scary shit.

I've got about 10 places to interview at all over the country. Most exciting= Animal Medical Center in Manhattan. Warmest= Louisiana State University. Most prestigious= Cornell University.

Ugh. I don't want to be a grownup.

the notion of looking for a job someday freaks me out. it's not just the idea that there are not MANY academic jobs ... just the whole idea of being in charge of my own fate - finally - is both wonderfully exhilirating and totally frightening. wink
