Holy fuck. I just had a week from hell.
I started oncology on Monday, having just cracked my tooth open and having the worst allergies possible. Oncology is traditionally a pretty easy rotation... pretty slow, not a lot of appointments, etc. Well this week there are only three of us on clinic duty, and we've all been putting in 12 hour days. I've been getting there at 6am and leaving at least after 6, usually 7 or 8.
I went in this morning at 6 am to find one of my patients crashing. I did everything I could to save him, but he died anyway at 5 this afternoon.
My favorite cow Betsy died today too. She was 14.
I'm super fucking tired. Shitty week.

long week unprofitble week for myself. today is the start of a new one though
