How was everyone's weekend?? Mine was excellent. A brief recap:
Saw Farenheit 9/11 Friday night. While Micheal More can be a bit sensationalist at times, the movie was still awesome. I couldn't help but feel the movie was preaching to the choir though, because I'm sure every person in that theater hated georgie boy as much do. Anyway, go see it!
After that I went to a nice little outdoor bar type place and proceeded to get wasted with my friends, classmates, and doctors from school. Yeah, that's always a blast. I was asked point blank if I'd have sex with one of the residents. Um... hmm... nope!
Saturday went to the "Taste of Champaign-Urbana"... Oh what a blast. Can't beat 18 booths of ribs and pizza. I think I ate a veggie egg roll and a lemonade the whole day. Ugh. I did buy some cool bumper stickers and anti war propaganda though.
Sunday walked around campus and tried to study for my boards which are coming up in november. Illinois has a 99% pass rate, so as long as I'm not that 1% failure, I'm golden. But I still have to study for it!
Went mini golfing after that and kicked everyone's asses with my hot pink golf ball. Outta the way fools!
And tomorrow marks the beginning of four glorious weeks of "off block." In other words, no clinics, no class, nothing for a month!!! I'm going to try and lose my winter belly and maybe head to my parents' for a few days. My little bro has taken over my bedroom for now, so I have nowhere to sleep! Oh well, maybe that is an excuse not to go home.

glad you get a little time off. but good luck w/all your studying. i have friend buckling down to do their qualifying exams. i know it can be stressful. but i'm sure you'll be fine
oh, and farenheit 9/11 rocked. i really thought the scened from iraq (pre-war, during the war) from both sides were so powerful. i was tearing up.
