I'd say no one knows what you HAVE to do better than you... BUT if I was choosing FOR you, I'd make you take the internship. In-field Experience is crucial in many fields and I'm pretty sure that's one of them. Plus you'll get to hook up with all kinds of people that you might not have access to otherwise.

I don't understand the drug test crap. I mean people can pass a test .... takes 3 days for most drugs to clear out. Then the don't do random drug tests while hired ......seems like a waste of cash on a company to me.
