Wha?? The company which hosts my site upgraded it'sservice today -- god knows why but they upped my space from 400MB to 750MB and my monthly bandwidth transfer from 3Gig to 5Gig!! I don't think I've ever heard of a telcoms or hosting co. cut its punters a break like this - maybe gremlinz in their systemz, I don't give a shit -- the gods have smiled upon me today.
Bet I do jack-shit with the added capacity though
Been downloading episodes of that Jim Henson Productions program "Farscape" (divX and a cable modem make for a lethally addictive concoction btw). I have to say there's a total glut of mediocre generic weekly sci-fi-serials kicking about network television -- no I don't watch or own one, but I try to monitor it's programming regardless. As a genre it's become pretty much formularised now.
Anyway, "Farscape"... this is totally original -- the dialogue, the character interaction and relationshops, sets, direction, Henson's puppets, all pretty fresh, so far the stories have been pretty interesting too -- awesome production over-all. Not that it matters really, I just think it's rare to find something that makes me want to check the next episode, and the next, and the next -- and I'm a total snob when it comes to shit.
In other news, I have three days off work -- I might even update this thing... nahhh, pro'lly not.
Off to listen to "Ghost in the Machine"...
