New blog... I've been burning silkscreens all afternoon and am just about ready to print a new drawing I made of a street scene with a big sign on the top of the building that says "Don't Be Afraid" I'll post pics when it's done!
Alright, so I've got a new pic... I think I'm getting the hang of this computer stuff. Really, who knew it was good for something besides naked ladies?
So I'm sticking with my original question:
What's your favorite SG Set of the year?
What's your favorite album of the year?
Bunny's Italy and Bob Dylan's No Direction Home soundtrack are mine.
darling, isn't "endearing" going a bit far? hahaha. but really, yeah, sometimes it's worth it when all is said and done. i'm just currently very, very frustrated.....
so now i have to come up with a topic for you?? isn't it a man's job to think and a woman's to cook, clean and make babies?
never been to seattle, but i must say, i wouldn't mind.... really though. if you ever decide to grace the No Coast with your presence....
what's frustrating? idiot men (the ones i ranted about) and no sex. that's right. i'm sexless. and it's a crime. a sin. i am the best ever in that department, thank you very much and i'm not sharing it with anyone.
it's frustrating.
but i can't just share with *anyone*..... you know?
Hoo...ahh! Wait until y'all hear the new Pink Mountaintops album... it's fucking stellar.
Favorite album for the year?
Favorite photoset?
My faves;
Album = Bob Dylan - "No Direction Home" soundtrack. Get stoned and listen to disc two through headphones and tell me that you can imagine a better live experience.

definitely check out damian. try to listen to "it was written" first, although it has steven in it. or "go". those are two of my favorites.
or holopaw. have you listened to them? they are nice and relaxing music.
Whew, I'm back from Peru and I'm exhausted... thanks for all the comments and offers for help with my last problem. I guess it's just going to be a wait and see situation, I won't push for anything.
Well...if it must be classified, I'd call it heavy experimental noise pop. Y'know, your standard loud sounds with the occasional Connie Francis cover...
I hope the stress eases soon, too...but I've only got less than a month left before *drumroll, please* graduation. So it'll probably get worse before it'll get better.
Did you go to CMU or just live here? I think this town has changed a lot in the 5 years I've been here in terms of people and attitudes but stayed much the same otherwise. People were much friendlier when I first came here. Then again, maybe my perceptions have changed.
I'll work for your record label. I don't have $$ to invest; that's why I'm trying to get a job out of it. I'm just a poor girl with a college degree working at good ole Meijer.
Well, I have an interview this Tuesday so wish me luck. It's with a certain record company as their marketing director. I keep dreaming about the interview so it's kind of like getting practice runs right?
Other than that, I bought some new boots in order to get ready for my trip to Peru and I've been not going out in order to save money.... Read More
And thanks for the compliment on my set. I can kinda see in retrospect why it got rejected, though. I'm gonna try again once I can find a decent photographer around here...
I've always wanted to go to South America, I'm so jealous.
Do you have a focus for your musicology career?
