My sleep schedule is all fucked up. It's almost 11AM and i think i might go to bed now. . maybe?

I haven't answered my phone in like 3 days. I've got a thousand voicemails of people who are probably wondering if i'm alright, or just waiting for me to check in.

The Yankees are in Tampa the 13th-16th (could have the dates off), I'd feel horrible spending money on something as frivilous as baseball tickets and gas 45 minutes down to Tampa and back. . .but i didnt get to see a single Yankees game my last year in NYC, and it might be good for a mental-health-day type thing. I dunno.

I have 3 paychecks in my wallet that may or may not clear because who knows what the N.O. banking situation is like.

I'm hungee. I think i'll have a bowl of cereal after this.

Car insurance is almost due. Hopefully i can get some charity money from my family for that.

I need a new pair of sun glasses. . .the one's i have are on their last leg.

I'd also like to thank the American People. And i emphasize PEOPLE. I've seen the country come together on its own like this when i lived in NYC for 9/11, and now this. No matter how much i can't stand the things that you do, and the way you live your lives and how it can negatively affect me, and the way your "social norms" have given me such a hard time, you can pull yourselves together in the greatest adversity to help not only other Americans, but all human beings around the world (ie:tsunami)

I'd like to say FUCK YOU to the American Government. I've known this all along, but now i have proof that the American Government and the American People are two seperate entities that have NOTHING to do with each other except for the fact that the American People are only there to be taken advantage of by the American Government.

Georgy boy (that's the president's name from now on. He gets no form of respect from me in the shape of Mr. or President, or his real name) Georgy boy and his cohorts in charge have done NOTHING for the war on terror. (maybe an exageration, but) Contrary to all that bullshit they say. The War on Terror in Afghanistan lasted very briefly, and then their attention was turned to "more important (personal) crusade" in Iraq. And then he has the nerve to lie and pretend like this is in the name of those people who lost their lives in the Trade Center and at the Pentagon. He doesnt even care about finding Bin Laden, and has outright stated that almost word for word.

And now this. A government that took 5 days to respond to the largest natural disaster this country has ever seen. A government that had 4 days to prepare for the storm BEFORE hit. Instead of Congress holding an emergency session THAT night like they did for Terri Shiavo, they decided on meeting 2 days AFTER THEIR ALREADY DELAYED DECISION TO ACTUALLY STOP THEIR VACATION. A government that didn't have the National Guard readied for this, which is the purpose of having the National Guard. A National "Guard" that surrounds the city and turns the help away as people die inside. Georgy boy who had time to fly to AZ (or was it san diego? i forget at this point) Regardless, he still had time to go push his Social Security nonsense and raise money for his own personal needs when people were drowning and starving to death in his own country. And then he went to some festival to make a public apearance and played guitar on stage while people were dying. They go around trying to "Spread Democracy, the Govt. of the people" to countries that dont ask to be helped, the same way Soviet Russia was just "Spreading Communism, the Govt of the people." They do things in the name of Freedom and Liberty, but these things only seem to reduce our Freedoms and Liberties. The list could go on and on

The American People and the American Government are clearly two seperate entities, not one as they should be. Unfortunately, politcal boundaries are just make beleive lines on the Earth and have corralled the American People into looking like they are part of the American Government's land.

All these people who are starting that bullshit about the poor response being a Racist thing, i think you're wrong. I'm almost certain this has nothing to do with race. This has EVERYTHING to do with a completely inneffective, inept, idiotic, worthless presisident, and an ineffective, inept, idiotic, worthless government. They'd probably sacrafice their entire constiuancy for their own personal gain.
