Not to get nostalgic, but:

I miss
- an abundance of great Sushi
-Pommes Frites dips. I dont even like french fries, but those dips!
-Mamouns. Oh those Falafels and Shawarmas and Everything else
-Pizza. L&Bs, Deninos, and many many more.
-Bagels. Bagels. Bagels.
-the subway. Go figure
-the LES, East Village, Harlem, Alphabet City, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and most of south and south east Brooklyn
-Finding exactly what i wanted whenever i was hungry, any time of day or night.
-Driving in the 5 boros
-NYC drivers. Even the bad ones. (You'll understand if you ever drive in New Orleans)
-The musical options i had for ALL different genres
-the Proximity to other cities worth visiting. Drive for an hour and a half to 3 hours around here and you're in bumble fuck. Up there there Baltimore, Boston, Philly, Albany, Camden, Trenton, Newark, Hoboken, D.C., and many more.
-the wonderful lack of wannabe cowboys.
-the literacy rate
-people who understand abtsract thought
-people who understand other cultures
-diversity. Albiet very diverse and intermixed for the south, there just arent as many different of everything. There are the punk freaks and gothy-indus-metal freaks. There are the college kids (frat boy/sorority girl on break from "State") there are the deep southerners/country people. And then the blacks. It's very, very strange how together it all is in some spots, but for the most part is so so seperate.

Anyway. . .

I know, HST has always been someone I've been really torn on my whole life.

I just never know what to make of him.

Come to Vegas this weekend.

Hmm. Mamoun's Falafel. That's where I'll go for lunch. Thanks.
