Now onto other news. Very important news. The NFL post season is but tomorrow's monday night game and next sunday away. And here's the way i see things if anyone cares.
As far as the NFC goes, man what a mess. The only NFC team that had a chance was Philly, but they lost T.O. I'm not trying to take anything away from the Eagles. I think without T.O. they're still the best NFC team. . but they're no longer on par with the AFC Division leaders.
I think Green Bay is the next NFC team with post season promise even over Atlanta who had the better regular season record. Everything changes when you get to the post season. They're still not going to beat the AFC though. As far as Seattle, they will probably win the division, if not the wildcard with St. Louis in the division. Either way it dont mean shit. The wildcards of Minnesota, Carolina, and (gag) New Orleans dont have a prayer in the world to make it to the conference championships, let alone into the Superbowl.
Now that i've rambled through the crappy NFC, on to the powerhouse AFC. I personally will be rooting for the Jets. They will make it to the playoffs, beyond the first round is questionable. The AFC playoffs will increase in intensity coming to a crashing halt at the AFC Finals where Indy will barely scratch by Pittsburg in a beautiful ballet of precise offensive execution and a defensive wraught iron curtailing.
Of course, Indy (or whichever AFC team wins the AFCChamp) will walk in the superbowl. But every real sports fan knows that the championship games are nowhere near as exiting or as important as the Conference championsips. I'm sure you all remember how the Cards decided to not show up for the World Series this year. . . and the past 2 ALCS's?
And then there's the Giants. . . it's been a long rough road for us. However, we did much better than i expected. We're on the 5 year plan

I was rather disapointed.
My money is on the Steelers to win it all.
I know real gutsy pick.
But everyone is banged up, I can't bet on Indy's defense, and they beat everyone else.
Your comment "Cuz if you dont (grinding knuckles into palm)" LOL! spoken like a true Staten Islander.... I used to know Lord Michael years ago and his group out there... they took me out to SI and gave me an incredible tour- ha!
