Serioiusly. Things have been sorta dead lately. Be part of the solution!

At least have the two co-exist for a while.

When the summer is over activity here will peak again and people will want to know where to find you.
Then there are the newbies who inevitably show up...

I think it's a great move to start a music specific site for yourself.
Not that you don't have focus already, but it will be good to channel that into one online presence. Giving you the ability to sort it out and grow in some unknown direction. Excellent idea!
