i'm finally well again yay!
i love the massage place i work at in venice....i don't know why, but it's my favorite location. i don't make the most $ there and i have to pay for parking, but it has just such a great vibe. next year i plan on moving to venice when our lease is up....i'm in mar vista now, which is practically venice, but i would really like to walk to the beach in 5 minutes instead of 40. the rents there are only a $100 more per month than what i'm paying now and it could make it so i never have to use the car unless i want out of town.
the car....shit just never stops going wrong w a car.....i need new tires, new brakes and now the power steering is fucked up. it isn't affecting the steeering yet, but it sounds all labored when i turn at low speeds and it's been leaking fluid.....i don't wanna pay for that shit! i'm trying to save for a bike, but it looks like mr. car will be getting any $ that i have....
i've been in studio w CHESS producer abe all week. he gets going and just doesn't let up...it's been like 7 days in a row we've been mixing and editting drums, recording vocals na dhaving people sit in on guitar....this is by far the weirdest and best musical creation of my life. it's turning into a unique blend of world music, indie rock, electronica and movie score. that and all the lyrics and imagery tell a hero's journey story set in a kabbalistic, astrological and magickal framework....the perfect blend of my hermetic and musical pursuits.....i know that sounds gay, but the record won't ....
so yeah....work, studio, sleep.....what it is...
