I hate life.

Well, maybe 'hate' was a bit much... "strongly dislike" would work, though.
How stupid is it to call someone in the middle of the night asking them to drive all the way from RI to NY to fix something before morning? I don't need that job anymore but quitting is impossible; I've been trying for two weeks now and they keep calling me every time something's amiss. We do the dance for a ('Um, I quit, remember?' 'Oh, don't be like that. We need you.' 'I can't...' 'You're irreplaceable! Look, we'll even pay you extra because its' short notice.' '((sigh)) Ok, whatever.') And I show up. I'm too fuckin' nice.
And of course, once I get there, it's always something I could have talked them through over the phone. Last night, it was a freeze. Not a big deal, of course, servers slow down and lock up from time to time; just reset it! Duh! ((sigh)) But it was after 3a before I got back home.
