barnaby and i went pumpkin picking this afternoon. it was soooo cold, but really fun. we took the hay ride, and ate french fries. we usually try to pick an oddly shaped pumpkin, and the one we got this year is great. it kinda lays on its side, is shaped like a skull, and has a super long and frayed stem that looks like a ponytail, so it kinda looks like a decapitated head. i'm planning on drawing a face on it soon. i can never bring myself to carve our pumpkins, because they last so much longer if you don't. the one we got last year lasted until spring before it rotted. we got a pumpkin for my sister also, who could not come with us because she was studying for a midterm. we'll probably drive it up to her in worcester sometime this week.
