i think i'm getting a cold...i've got a runny nose and all that great stuff. i probably got it from one of the kids i tutor.
i have to read Hatchet before i go tutor tomorrow, or i won't know what i'm talking about during class. usually i love taking a break from my school work and sitting down to read an adolescent novel in one sitting, and feeling like i accomplished something even though it was only 150 pages of large print, but i cannot motivate myself to read this sucky book. it's bad that i can hardly get through it because it is so boring and poorly written, i can't imagine having to spend weeks on it in seventh grade, and i hope i never have to teach it. the kids just cannot relate to it.
