When will I learn that I really am a geezer?
The Bastille Day Party last night went 'til 5 am. 2 people slept on the sofa - they left at 11 am. I had forgotten how my head feels after too much champagne until this morning. I do enjoy my Kir Royale - the Chambord is such a sweet touch in my Veuve Clicquot.
At least the rest of this week wasn't as hectic as last week: Tues and Thurs out til 2:30, then last Saturday's party went to 4:45 am - followed by a 9:30 breakfast and noon time hike. Last night was my only late night this week.
Wait - that's not quite true. Shannon called me Friday night when Club Gallery got out, around 2:20am. I never did get there Friday. She ended up stopping by around 3:45 am. We chatted, then she crashed on the sofa.
