Sleep deprived. I really need to learn that the human body does, in fact, require sleep. After getting up at 4:30 Wed, I stayed up 'til midnight drinking with the fellow conferees. Didn't even try to nap on the train down to Newark, had to prepare for the conference. We had a bus take us to dinner that night. We were going to a place called Spain, but the driver took us to the Spanish Tavern (I'd been there a few years ago and loved it). Since we all run limo companies, we were merciless in our harassment of the guy who provided the transportation It was a great night - lots of sangria and paella followed by flan.

Next day was long, but productive. Blackberry was busy during all the breaks trying to get the details together for next weeks NYC event. Plus more big events came on line. Got off the train around 8 and, after the car dropped me off at home, I grabbed a bite and headed out to Ward's for music and merriment. 2 of the guys keep telling me that one of my friends is interested in me... I don't know, we're friends. She is cute and fun - but I don't know if she really has any interest. Besides, I'm trying to get together with someone else! Finally got home about 1.

Back to work Friday, and didn't leave until 9 pm - even then I took paperwork home! Went straight to a pub for some Red Label. The gang was meeting there to listen to their favorite band. Heidi and Terri got me to dance - a big challenge since I generally don't dance! Home about 2 am. Did I sleep this morning? Oh yeah, I slept in til 8 am!

I'll never learn.
