The bitter cold is supposed to be gone - for now. Winter wasn't that bad - but I wonder how much extra I spent for gas and electric lately?
Did some grocery shooping - time to stock up. I love getting a deal. Receipt says I got $153.91 worth of food for $93.64 - you know the deal, Buy one get one free or stuff 50% off. Sorry vegans, but I grabbed ham steaks for breakfast, scallops, swordfish, shrimp, chicken and porterhouse steaks.
Went out with friends to see a band last night. Decided it was time to start drinking again. Not a great selection of scotch so I settled for Johnny Red and ginger ale. Heidi, en ex, came by after everyone else left. She had a rough night and wanted to chat. Yeah, we're friends. Never really went far as a pair - just realized we were better as friends.
Work sucks. Always too much to do and not enough help. Of course, everytime we hire someone new, it sets me further back while I train them. It begins again Monday. Hopefully, I can pass a lot of my stuff to the new person. I need a vacation. But where will I go?

as much as i hate to say it though, for a day-long activity you'd probably be better off doing the duck tour - there's more to see that isn't weather-dependent. newbury st? eh i'd skip it unless you're wanting to do the shop and people-watch thing. but definitely keep jp in mind!
