shamefully enough i haven't been on the sam adams tour and it's literally a few streets down from me 
. but hooray for JP yes it's definitely a fun place to check out - the feeling and the general atmosphere is so unique...in my opinion anyways. there are definitely places to go like jp pond, the arboretum, etc but unfortunately those are best left for warm weather. there are AMAZING restaurants here though - centre st. is like good food heaven. also i live two houses down from james's gate which has been best of boston a few times for irish bars...they still have their big fireplace going this time of year and it's my favorite place to sit and feel all down home cozy. then there's the milky way which is lots of fun and has a retro bowling alley. jeez i could go on and on.
as much as i hate to say it though, for a day-long activity you'd probably be better off doing the duck tour - there's more to see that isn't weather-dependent. newbury st? eh i'd skip it unless you're wanting to do the shop and people-watch thing. but definitely keep jp in mind!

i don't think it's 'dating' at 10 - early stages of having a girlfriend. But I just don't see me getting to the point she is at. I just need to end it rather than let her think this has a chance of becoming something that it won't.
