The Weekend was fun. my friends from DC and NYC came up to Boston to hang and go to the opening night of the New Model Army North American tour and B and W brought me a bottle of John Powers Gold Label from the Distillery on their trip to Ireland. YAY WHISKEY! The Army show absolutely Rocked, nice intimate setting at the Middle East. And the Setlist was Phenomenal. There was only 3 songs they didn't play that I would've liked them to
Wanted to hear Marrakesh, just cuz I think Justin playing it live with me and B would really be the last bit of closure we needed after our breakup. Don't get me wrong, I still love her, and if given the chance I'd still take her back, but I'm not all fucked up over her anymore. But, sometimes when we sit and talk, just sometimes,.....it hurts. But, overall, the good far outweighed the bad. With how shitty my week was I needed it.. After the show it was off into the city to hang about and enjoy the weather, outdoor seats at the diner so we could smoke with our coffee, and the sunrise on the sea wall in Winthrop then home to get some sleep. Woke up feeling physically shitty. Think I've got something. Throat is really dry and scratchy and I know it's not from the show., I didn't do anything that would've blown my voice. Oh WEll, I'll be fine tomorrow.
