There are usually open events posted for around the Bmore area that new folks are invited to attend.

Keep an eye on riotsmrrf's journal, as he DJs around the Bmore area and the SG folk tend to hit up his gigs.

Also I can let you know when there will be an open event, I'm trying to organize a dinner meet and greet for new folks to attend next month.

Until then just be social on the boards, if you see events listed in the area find out more about them and see if you can hit one up.

I'm not super picky hardcore, but I will only let people into the CC group who I've met or have met people I know well enough to trust their judgement.

I totally agree with you on the freedom vs. safety issue. I can understand where they're coming from, but it's a hinderance to everything we've tried to accomplish since we established our independence.

is it the twenty-third or the twenty-fifth? or another day alltogether... it's a month and a day or two before mine. or is it a day or two after mine? this is so unlike me - i didn't note it. it's not only missing in my address book, it's not on my calendar! what is the matter with me!?! i need to know when to think you the most happiest of birthday wishes!

anyway, i was wondering what a hootenanny is exactly and what this particular one will consist of and why you put a pig pic after the post.

my birthday will not be celebrated with a barbeque. it never has been. ha! (i thought the monkey looked the most like ally sheedy which is who i was always compared with ((basket case)) and which is why, i just realized, i probably say "ha!" so often)

i llamaed for ten minutes... you'd think i could remember the words, eh? did you ever see a llama kiss a llama on the llama? llama's never taste like llama??? something. happy llamas. but have YOU ever heard the sesame st. version?

ok, i just spent over half an hour searching for the mp3 of "me and my llama" and i can't find it. i suck. but i did find the words... people seem to not be all that fond of the llama song... were you? i was. been singing it in my head for years without really knowing the words. have a little insanity with your day! :o)

i tried to watch llama last night but i had a migraine. i didn't try tonight because today's migraine is worse than yesterday's. bah and humbug. i'm glad you got some recognition at work - you deserve it. do you really really like pi or is it an accident that you've listed it twice in your fav. films? and why the hell am i asking such a stupid and awkwardly superficial question? oh, because i'm feeling awkward. yes. maybe i'll feel less awkward sometime after thursday. i do wish the voices would go away. *sigh* so awkward.
