WHEW! I still have time to return my overdue library books!!!
read on.....
The universe will last for another 26 billion years and not collapse in a "big crunch" within 11 billion years from now as predicted earlier, a new study has found.
Relying on the theory of 'dark energy' an unseen force counteracting the pull of gravity astrophysicists have come to the conclusion that the universe is expanding faster than thought.
he team's new calculation relies on recent observations from the Hubble Space Telescope, which has found several supernovae that are moving away from us faster than any others seen before, implying that the Universe is expanding faster than we thought.
Can anyone say... HEAT DEATH OF THE UNIVERSE? dammit I love science!
(in the immortal words of my father)
"I'll short bus, You!"
what does that even mean? hahahhaha
he's getting a treadmill for christmas, and my mother is going to make sure he gets his ass on it!!!!
I like my Pa, he's just got the emotional complexities of an ironing board.....
(hugs and kisses dad.... oh of course.. it's the russian 'manly' kind)

well thank the lord on my knees! hehehe. there was a naughty thought associated with that somehow. and the thanking was not for your dad getting a treadmill. i think i may have just grossed myself out. head goes faster than fingers and thoughts that don't belong together got smooshed and squiggled and now... now i go. and yes, i can say, "heat death of the universe." and i'm fond of science too.
