I actually own one of those voice synthesizers, the same model as was attached to Stephen's chair. The only thing I ever made it say was "Physics is hard. Let's go shopping." I told all my pals I was going to market a Talking Stephen Hawking Action Figure (buying off the commercial success of the Talking Barbie who you might recall uttered similar phrases), complete with Action Wheelchair and Kung-Fu Chin Grip.
But I never got any venture capital.
