This week ended up being pretty good, despite the whole "packing for Texas then being redirected to Chicago" thing.
In Texas, I got to go pay my respects to Dimebag Daryl and Vinnie Paul (and I left a guitar pick on Dime's marker) in Arlington, then I took a trip to lake Texoma on the Texas/Oklahoma border and went fossil hunting/photographing.
In Chicago, I got to go downtown and see some of the amazing architecture, as well as the Sears Tower (now called the Watts Tower) which was the talked building in the world when I was growing up. Then, continuing my cemetery tour, I visited John Belushi's cenotaph in Elmwood Cemetery just outside the city.
