So Friday night put me on cloud nine and yesterday sent me crashing back to Earth. So I guess the weekend has been half great and half shit. What more can you expect when you only have 1 day off before the work week begins again???
Friday I wound up going out to dinner with my girl Laura. (This was one of our nekked drunk nights, pre nekkedness of course)

We were planning on making a fabulous dinner at home and nekked hottubbing it but I went out to check the hot tub and found that the parentals had tunred it off because they haven't been using it. So much for that perk while housesitting!
So I turned it on to heat up so that by tonight we can get some nekked action going on. So we decided to go out instead. We had a lovely dinner where we had crappy service (5 different waiters, none of which were good) but good food so it worked out. Then we ran back to my house to drop off some food for my hunny who is now sick in bed with the cold I just got over.
Then my friend Ramon called. Ramon is an ex, like so many of my exes, who is still in my life in a very positive way. I know it probably makes me a FREAK but I really am friends with about 99% of my exes and very happy about it. Ramon and I met at university and he is one of the sweetest, most loving, and cool people I know. We are TOTAL opposites. He is a metal head hard core rocker dude and I am a hippie country girl. But we make fabulous friends and share fantastic hugs. He is in town for the weekend and so Laura and I drove down to Cotati, the little hippie town where I went to university and met him at this little bar we used to love called Friar Tucks. It is an imitation Irish pub. The owners and I have had many drunken conversations about how it is really nothing like a real Irish pub but it is small and dark and the people are friendly and you can get loud and sing and dance on the pool tables if you are a regular so it makes life good. So we met up for a drink and caught up on life. It is amazing how much changes in our lives so quickly. We had a few laughs, mostly over the thought of me living in the Midwest or the South. Ramon is from St. Louis and the company that does my software for work is from Missouri too and we love to make fun of the idea that I would finally take the job they have been offering me for the past 2 years. I have been out there several times and there is no way I could live somewhere that a town would protest the high school Homecoming Dance because the students elected a Homecoming King who was black. I am not kidding! No way in hell could I live someplace like that. No offense to my friends in the Midwest. Anyhow, I digress. The night was good even though there was no Friday night nakedness.
And now I am just catching up on things before heading to my house to do some laundry and watch the Super Bowl. I think of Gayballs every time I see a Super Bowl commercial since they are playing in Miami. Wish I was there. Go Peyton! Kick some "Oh Rexy You're So Sexy" ass!
That's all for now...
