I am in an introspective mood... sooooo... share with me my friends....
What is one thing about you that no one believes when they find out or hear about?
Here is mine: No one believes I was burly enough to enlist in the military right out of high school. I was (still am) an uber science geek and wanted to get into the virology program at USAMRIID. The easiest and less lengthy approach is to be enlisted vs being a civi trying to get in.
Good thing I was given the medical discharge boot due to severe asthma otherwise my life would, I think, be MUCH different than it is today. When people here this story, I usually get some varience on this: "You are too _____ for the Army" Usually it is something like "girly, liberal, outspoken, femme etc."
These reponses tend to peeve me.
Now share with me damn it so I am not alone in my musings....
