Not alot of you know what I do for a living....

the name Prod Deity used to come from a former career that I had.

I was a production assistant at a Clear Channel radio station where I live.

So....

Prod = commercial production

and

Deity = God or godlike

There, that explains it.... not for the real reason behind this post.

I left Clear Channel involuntarily back in March, but I've been a common Joe at Fred Meyer (Kroger since 2000) for just short of a year.

I notified the grocery manager Monday about my surgery, and he informed me that he cannot work me light duty (10 lbs. for 2 weeks)....

So, what to do with a company that you gave literally blood sweat & tears to?

Leave them!

Same thing that I did with Clear Channel, but that's another story for another day...

Back on track......

My friend works for a big mortgage company over in Seattle, Lynwood to beexact, and she put my resume` in.

It should be a matter of time until I hear from them.

Since I don't really have to do any absurd amount of lifting, I should be cleared for this job.

I'll consult my quack doctor when the time comes.
