Had a stellar girls' night out with Hopey and one of my fellow ex-Maui Roller Girl compatriates. I love that when I have a night out with the girls, it's never a bunch of phony diet food and gossip bullshit. It's laughing too loud over inappropriate blowjob and stripper talk and dick jokes. biggrin

The idiocy of the vast majority of the employed population is painfully apparent now that my husband and I are both actively (and yet futilely) searching for employment.

Say what you will about me, I don't give up on titty-looking.

That's great that you have a goal to work towards, though. A hell of a lot better than looking for a shit job because it's all that's available.

Good Luck! I know what you mean. Everyday on the road, I see people driving these beautiful machines, like utter shit. Then I think of all the retarded professionals I've met. Like every public defender I've ever had. That last guy probably drives a sparkling new audi, but I wouldn't put my money on him in a game of checkers. Of course, I haven't passed the bar yet either.

While I was watching the flood of bullshit that was the Goldman Sachs testimony yesterday, the stock crawler went by. Goldman Sachs was up a point. surreal

This is the most interesting fucking blog thread I've come across so far....and i'm not even jumping into the merits of Space Camp as a pantheon of American film.

As for Goldman Sux...who gives a shit what those panty wastes at the SEC wish they could do. Big banks are the scourge of this country...they are immune to tangible checks and balances. I'm sure their stock will remain solid.

Aye, carpet is on par with wallpaper. They seem so innocuous, there on the wall, on the floor, but the removal is from hell.

Aw, it's the thought that counts. smile

I liked Kick Ass more, actually. And the pear flavor is actually very good. It's a very refreshing vodka.

I saw someone comment on a friend's Facebook update wherein she was pleasantly surprised that she was doing well financially. This friend of a friend asserted that the only reason my friend was pleased was that she had been conditioned to feel that money was a good thing.

And yes, in theory I can agree. But when money is what creates insulation from starvation, homelessness,...

Just saw that skank Ke$ha on SNL. Apparently it's pronounced with a short 'E'.

Fuck that noise. I'm calling her Keeeesha or Kaysha or preferably not at all. She's like if Pink and Lady Gaga had a sweaty, regrettable one-night stand and had a baby- $he would be the afterbirth.

Had a great weekend- big yummy Saturday breakfast at home with my guys, out...

This house needs a dog.

Tell me about it!

My apologies for the obviousness & duh-factor of this . . . but . . . all houses (and indeed many apartments) need a dog. Theyre what makes a house a home - a dirty, hairy, smelly, dusty home - but home nonetheless. Plus, theyre far easier to train and more obedient than children wink .

Oh that is awesome! smile

Yeah its been hard trying to balance it all. My ex is hardly dependable for support and my bf cant afford to carry us all. I will have to do what I can to get by, my kids always come first and if it doesnt work for them, it wont work for me. So my fingers are crossed for better times ahead....just trying to stay afloat.

You left a comment on Toothpick's blog about Arnold and it not being a tumor. Fucking priceless. Thank you for the laugh.
