My neighbor brought by a huge surplus of basil from her garden last night. This morning I made a pot of basil simple syrup. love

Basil-lemon drop:

2 oz. basil simple syrup
3 oz. vodka
2 oz. lemon juice

I add water to my cocktail shaker to taste but I'm sure a lot of people would shudder at the thought. Do whatcha like.

The schools here suck but they are better then those in the LA area. The cost of housing still sucks even with the massive drop in the market.

Aww, thank you for noticing, ma'am. I just haven't felt funny in a long time. I'm trying wicked hard to snap out of it, though.
