Look, J, I like you. I think you're a funny, intelligent and sweet person. I liked hanging out with you in the short time that we did. You called me before SxSW and I appreciated that. You called me last weekend and I apreciated that as well. I liked having you on my friends list because I thought your posts were amusing and I enjoyed your friends threads and because I considered you (while admittedly not one of my close friends because we don't talk that often) one of my friends on the site.

All of that said, I don't know why someone would edit something after they wrote it. That, right there, is not a threat. You're saying he said he was going to come visit you? What was the context?

You're right about me that I try and avoid drama. When I have friends that are fighting, I generally try to stay out of it unless I am in a position to remedy the situation. I am not in such a position now. All of that said, I would like to think that if I saw a threat or felt that you were being threatened by someone, I would react appropriately because even though you may not find me as such, I believe I am a loyal person.

But loyalty is a two-way street. I do not appreciate being put into a position where I have to choose between friends. Especially when I do not have all of the story. Or moreover where I didn't even know that the choice was on the table or why it is all of the sudden flaring up now.

And yeah. If you want to talk to me about something, talk to me. I am a reasonable and rational person. Possibly to a fault.

Hey, you gotta look out for what's (and who's) important. Not all people realize that.
