Mr. PRock is in LA (well...Santa Ana), getting his certification for his new job. He'll be back Wednesday and I miss him like crazy already. If you live in the area and have any recommendations for good strip clubs or other fun places for him to go Tuesday night after he finishes the stuff he has to do, let me know.

I talked with my potential employer today. (If you are on my friends list, I'll leave a clue in my unsaid thread so you know who it is). I told them at the final interview that I'd have to be at the high end of the salary range they advertised and today they told me I'm starting at the top end. I can't even tell you how happy that makes me.

For the past three weeks, we haven't had a working shower downstairs. That's where our rooms are so we've had to go upstairs and ask my mom if we could use her master bath every day. The landlord has been totally flaky about fixing it and her son finally went at it at 7pm the other night and ended up flooding half the downstairs. The whole thing has been really stressful. I am so relieved that it's fixed. It's still not quite finished, but it is liveable.
