I overdid it by skating hard three days in a row. My knees are paying the price. It's hard to know what to do or not do because I've never had the injury assessed by a doctor.

I won't be skating this week anyway since I got the cold that my son was just getting over.

Literally ONE of our friends RSVP'ed to our housewarming....

Head hair came late, which is something of a miracle in my family. We haven't really discussed pubes...

Be well and have as much fun as the bastards will let you.

Dude not kosher with the party. I'd go but it's a hell of a drive for someone that is now so broke I can't buy gas.

So we're settling in. I think this near-constant drizzly weather might even be growing on me. I am loving our neighborhood and finding more and more cool things within walking distance. I'm falling more in love with our house. It's 98 years old and huge. It's actually way too much house for us but after living in such cramped quarters in Hawaii, it's a welcome...

We should get coffee some time, or something, I have no idea. That's how exciting I am!

Yeah. That's the first major project I've completed in a long time. I have a bad habit of starting things and losing interest. If I'm actually making it for someone I'm much more likely to finish. If you wanted to commission something from me you're more likely to get it than if you just wait for me to produce something. ooo aaa

You know what's more lonely than moving to a new city? Moving to a new city where you know people and none of them wanting to see you. frown

The moving truck is packed. Tomorrow morning breakfast with a friend, then on to Portland.

Bon voyage!

I watched Gamer last night.

When I watch this kind of nonsense, it makes me feel dirty in a way that porn never could. I always feel like I have to atone with some PBS or an erudite documentary.

Packing, packing, packing. Finally got a sizeable chunk of money I was waiting for and got a great deal on the moving truck rental. Yay for...

I also peep my husband's ex-girlfriends on FB. They're all about a million years old, and it makes me soooooo happy.

While I'm waiting to move, waiting to see if I am going to get unemployment and waiting to hear back from the continuous stream of jobs I've applied for, I am:

-Writing:
A non-fiction book proposal
A screenplay
A short story

I haven't written anything longer than a grocery list since college. It feels good.

-Working out:
32 minutes of interval training on the elliptical...

Yeah I looked in to hostale but there isn't one close to where I am going to be. Also was looking for something couples friendly. That's why I was looking for a room to rent as a last resort most listings weren't ok with it.

Nice vanity!!! Sounds like you have been keeping busy.

Vote for my t-shirt idea. Because I'm too lazy to actually print it/sell it myself.

Hey, I just remembered that you mentioned that earlier and tried it. We shall see. Your deal sounds awesome (and I am quite a catch as a tenant...).

The beginning of this interview might be the most entertaining thing ever aired on television:

(about :25 to :45)

If someone who knows how to capture streaming video and make this into an animated .gif, please do it, for the good of humanity.

Agreed across the board. It had been so long since I'd had a vacation.

Happy Friday!

I'll know next week for sure but it looks like we've got a house. It's a huge old house in the Hawthorne district of Portland. I'm so excited.

I knew we had found the perfect place before I even saw it because this is right up the street. blush love ooo aaa

I can hardly contain my excitement. I can't wait to skate with these bitches,...

My Uncle almost killed the business back in the day when he took over and switched to a cheaper pastrami that tasted more like hotdogs then pastrami.

As for Mexican places I am very picky about where I'll go. In a town I don't know anyone in though it is a real crap shoot.

Congratulations! Vicinity to a waffle cart was a definite must in our housing search. When's the party?

yeah, most of it is contract work. I'm getting a day job so I can do makeup on the weekends... and I'm also going to get some more school to help with my end in the evening. It's awesome to see our dreams really start to come together.

Best thing about the job? Christian makes enough on his own for us to live (modestly) on.... all of the money I make when I get my job will be for paying off student loans and putting money into savings!!! biggrin
lilcupcake:
Ouch...that IS bad credit! Oh well, Im not alone wink tongue oh...secret girlfriend!!! shhhh wink
