essentials....Gloves especially if you're thinking of having Roses. Garden shears for trimming, chose a size depending on what your garden consists of. If you're really going to be spending time there get some knee pads, or just sacrifice an old pillow to do the job! Your knees will thank you.
Also if you'll be out in the sun you may want a little hat to keep the sun off the top of your head, and don't forget the sun block.
Fertilizer, top soil and a watering can.

All of that said, I don't know why someone would edit something after they wrote it. That, right there, is not a threat. You're saying he said he was going to come visit you? What was the context?
You're right about me that I try and avoid drama. When I have friends that are fighting, I generally try to stay out of it unless I am in a position to remedy the situation. I am not in such a position now. All of that said, I would like to think that if I saw a threat or felt that you were being threatened by someone, I would react appropriately because even though you may not find me as such, I believe I am a loyal person.
But loyalty is a two-way street. I do not appreciate being put into a position where I have to choose between friends. Especially when I do not have all of the story. Or moreover where I didn't even know that the choice was on the table or why it is all of the sudden flaring up now.
And yeah. If you want to talk to me about something, talk to me. I am a reasonable and rational person. Possibly to a fault.
