Okay, well, I'm wanting a little more ink on my skin, just not quite sure what though.
My best friend left to go back to Santa Cruz this afternoon. We went to get her first tattoo. It was so cute, she wanted me to hold her hand. And then it was all over.
I showed her as much of Portland as I could. It was so hot on Saturday that we couldn't do much but bar hop to everywhere we could get air conditioning. It was a day of drinking, smoking and to end it all we went to see a burlesque show that featured some Suicide Girls. It was her first real experience. We sat right up front. I went and got ones, gave half of mine to her and kept telling her to remember to tip the ladies.
At one point she dropped her cigarette on the floor and she tried to reach down and get it, but she kept getting her head too awkwardly close to this nasty guy's crotch. Finally she got the cigarette and wound up knocking dollar bill to the floor. I grabbed her by the sleeve and reached it with my foot in time to drag it over and get it off the floor. And just as my "spidey sense" told me, the guy next to my friend started grabbing his cock during one girls performance. I was just gagging at the sight (even though it was still in his khaki pants). *shudders*
At least the DJ and Bouncer got rid of him.
So yeah, after a third day of indulgence and hangovers, I think I left a great impression of Portland on her. You could very much say we've always been like Hunter S. Thompson and his Attorney. But which one of us which? I don't know.

Athens is pretty cool, great nightlife. I prefer Atlanta myself, but only because I grew up there
